Auto-disconnection

I was playing a 10-minute game when suddenly the electricity went out for 5 seconds. And my mobile app says it will auto-resign in 1 minute. I think that's unfair. Our router takes at least 1 & 1/2 minute to restart. Why not give auto-resign (or the poor suffering players) more time allowance?

How much time is dependent on the time control and how far along the game is.

The site tries to balance allowing time to reconnect and not wasting the time of other players.
