I’m guessing they muted you because you acted like you had moderator powers... going after trolls or something... only to end up doing the very thing you thought you were fighting against.

I've noticed that many users claim to be harassed by trolls, yet in reality, they often choose to engage with these so called trolls instead of simply blocking or ignoring them. If you don’t engage, you can’t be trolled.
People already know they shouldn’t respond to trolls, but they still do because there’s no real consequence. Then they turn around and present themselves as victims.
I suggest implementing a system where users who repeatedly interact with known troublemakers also face consequences, such as extended mutes or bans. This would help reduce trolling by discouraging unnecessary interactions and minimizing false reports.

If you give them a harsh paragraph of good advice, you’re a troll. If you feed them lies and say “You go girlie”, you’re loved by everyone. My dears, I’m not a troll. I’m just saying that you shouldn’t flame the mods for being muted for a few days. The moderation system isn’t perfect, duh, but they’re doing a great job with the people and resources they have. You can’t be so sensitive to the fact that I’m offering a good piece of advice and just call me a troll. I don’t have to stay in OTF, and I’m free to come onto this section as well.

... fine. I mean I wasn't serious that you were a troll, but I think it's unreasonable to call a one week ban fine. I mean, when's the last time you spent an entire week off of chess.com? Also, Midnight has a diamond membership. Chess.com should value members who support it, not follow through with unverified claims or edited screenshots.

I agree and disagree with what you’re saying here. A week ban isn’t “fine”, but it’s impossible that being banned muted six times is just a coincidence.
Also, diamond members should not be protected from mutes and bans. They should have to follow the same rules that everyone else does.
I think chess.com is a little smarter than to mute people off of edited screenshots. They have a whole team of mods and staff to look over reports carefully, and I’m sure they have resources to tell if it’s edited or not.
