Chess.com needs to balance players' ping

This mainly applies to Bullet chess, but in my opinion it would be beneficial if Chess.com balanced each player's ping (m/s). Why not? This seems like a no brainer. Someone with 200 m/s is much more disadvantaged than someone with 2 m/s who may live near a Chess.com server.

Thanks.

me and the boys using wifi suppressors and spectator laptop to get extra time in bullet chess

if your ping is bad it's your own fault, don't play bullet chess them smh

if  anything, it would probably be fair to make it so most ping and less skill goes against least ping and most skill, as someone with 200 m/s ping has more time to think and someone with 2 m/s ping has to act fast

that's what rating is for bozo just match similar ping with similar ping

I wouldn't be surprised if they already have this in place

The site already only allows a maximum amount of lag to play and forgives some transit/lag time.

https://support.chess.com/article/423-why-did-the-clock-times-suddenly-change-the-clocks-seem-broken

From there: (In fact, we only allow members to play if their detected lag is two seconds or less.)

Also, https://support.chess.com/article/357-what-is-lag-in-live-chess

From there: The maximum amount of lag the system will compensate is two seconds.

Completely agree.

Play longer time controls is your connection is bad.

Many have high latency times due to things they cannot control.  In China for example it's likely one would need to use a VPN, which would increase lag.  Do you really want to exclude them?  Or would it be better to adjust some, like is done now on this site?
