It would be nice, but I think it would be hard to implement. Support does a good job explaining what you did wrong and unmuting you if necessary.
Chess.com should really disclose what Community Guideline Violation you broke when you get muted.

I mea yeah support "does" but they take way to long to respond. The longest it took for them to respond was 20+ days and that was with spamming them with tickets every few days
Sometimes, but I've always gotten a response within 3-5 or so days. Their system has been pretty consistent on my part.
Agreed. I got banned once, (at the time I was unaware that you had to have permission to have two accounts) and it was something that could've been easily and quickly resolved if I'd been told why, however I wasn't so instead it took several days. From my experience chess.com staff is helpful and nice, but it does typically take a while.
The OP's been muted 7 times?
.....jezzs Louise, what's the problem? I got muted 3 times I think,...maybe 4. But it was all years ago. I use to swear alot. I've been a good boy for 5 yrs now. Don't I get some kind of award for that?
I'm in favor of having "The Funniest Post Of The Year" award. Something where staff laughs for days, and they give you a 1 yr diamond membership. ![]()

Interesting lol.
i think it was a joke
(When you get muted or banned)
I have been muted 7 times and banned once, and not one time did I know what Guideline violation i broke if any. They should just say what violation you broke (example. "You Have Been Muted For Spamming or Political Messages etc.) but chess.com doesnt say anything. But i get that this site has 1 million members and its hard to keep up. Just a suggestion/discussion.
@justelliott61970 summed this up really well with his blog. You should read it. (not advertising)

I agree. But I wouldn't be surprised if people started demanding evidence from chess.com if cc did implement it. So, probably they didn't want a headace.
