Chess.com's Ukraine Policy

Who cares about Chess.com's "Ukraine policy"?

What does Chess.com think about the US instigated and abetting of the overthrow of the constitutionally elected Yanukovich government?  Or Zelensky banning parties, or refusing to hold elections?

How gutless is it to lock commenting on Chess.com's "Ukraine policy"?

It’s not “gutless” I’ll tell you what it is.

Not allowed to discuss politics and the like on the general forums. It’s on the community policy. The moderators have no choice but to lock the forum.

I advise anyone who has an issue with the site's stance on political issues to submit a complaint via the support chat.

I'm surprised this post hasn't been closed. Post mentioning (f l a 6 s) or (I 5 r a 3 l) are closed within an hour. If the issue is political discussion then it would be logical that they would all be dealt with at the same pace.

Chess.com's issue with the Russia/Ukraine war is not new, and you can find out more on wikipedia:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chess.com

(Look up "Response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine")

That might give you more insight.
