People focused on views more, so chess.com did the bare minimum to prevent members revolting, but the followers just quietly slipped away..

Followers exist for Partnered Streamers, Article creators, and Top Bloggers.
I don’t believe there are any plans to bring them back for anyone else.

Exactly why though…chess.com never provided an acceptable reason other than the child-akin “cuz i wanna”…
I dont think that martin played a role in the update hes a mod not programer(well ig)

Yes, I know that. but moderators have more info than us, and they’re the ones we can actually get in touch with, so I’m asking him lol. All the criticism goes to chess.com not Martin Stahl btw, he didn’t do anything wrong.
