Daily ranking automatically adjusted

It seems to happen quite regularly that in daily tournaments I encouter opponents who have daily rating of ~1000 elo but they are 1500, 1800 or even 1900 in rapid and blitz. So they are not fairly rated. I assume that if someone is advanced player in games with shorter time control they will not be a beginner with one or three days per move... Therefore it seems logical to me that daily ranking should be automatically adjusted to the skills of the player even if they do not play daily chess. What do you think?

Hmm.

Well, Daily chess has a system that allows massive ratings drops based on time-outs.

I look at people's histories to see how many times they have built up their ratings and then let them slide because they got distracted, etc.

Ok, that's another problem. But my point is that under current rules Magnus Carlsen himself (if he does not play daily chess idk) can play with daily rating of 1000. I guess everybody would be disappointed to loose 50 rating points with completely no chance of winning with stronger oponent who is just not fairly rated...
