They have luck in their sleeves, that chance would be low to get banned without harming the TOS.

They did break the Terms Of Service though.

Apparently public accusations are a better way to get noticed by staff than reporting a user. Both of these ways do not work in getting a member banned. The only way we can really have a place that doesn't have members trolling everywhere are usually clubs that are admin accept only. Even some trolls can find their way to troll and won't get noticed for hours. A club recently got ban attacked from 288 members to around 130 members. This is what I mean, if you are going to have a club at least moderate it so trolls can rarely come through. And about 1-2 weeks ago there was a troll attack in the cc community club that went unnoticed for longer than any troll account that just joins chess.com to troll. OTF is a big target because they are extremely active because of the kids using it. These are a lot of things that chess.com is losing itself for.

The worst of them all, is getting harassed in the messages, old men looking for kids, and trolls spamming messages in direct messages is frustrating.

Snowchlobe

97 i get a lot of messages from pedo old men on chess.com.

i report all of them for sexual harassment and not 1 has been banned. there's no option to screenshot evidence either.

i play OTB as well and know a player who "accidently" rubs his foot against girls when playing them. the TD will pretend like they're taking it seriously but then nothing happens and he's still playing.

it doesn't happen in other male dominated sports i play.

Snowchlobe

i'll name and shame some of them here since reporting doesn't do anything.

Yeah..

Maybe this full grown man with a beard shouldn't be sending his phone number to teen girls on chess sites then.
