Displayed accuracies in game review and on own homepage do not match

Hi.

After having had a nice game with another player (who did by the way not give up, which I think is really good fighting spirit 🙂) the other player had probably already pushed the game review button, so I saw on my homepage accuracies of 75.6/65. However, once I entered myself into game review both of our accuracies were downgraded to 70.2/60.8.

What happened there? As I am writing and probably have reloaded my homepage several times, our accuracies are still displayed at 75.6/65. I'm playing on a Samsung Galaxy S9 btw.Accuracies on homepageAccuracies in Game review

The review may have ran again at a different depth. You'll get different results at different depths.

I made a similar post like yours a few days ago here:

Why is Game Review Accuracy on Android Different

I do believe the mobile apps hit a different Game Review server resource than the Web based Game Review program. The Accuracy Scores saved to both players Game Archives will change values depending on if the Game Review is run or rerun on an Android mobile device or from the Web. (This seems to me like it would cause a lot of unnecessary writes to both players Game Archives and may be in fact a contributing factor to the database write problems Chesscom has recently been having?)

I have seen on occasion when I rerun the same Game Review on my Android mobile app, a new Accuracy Scores gets generated that will exactly match the Web run Game Review Accuracy Scores. Apparently the back end Game Review resource that is served to the Android mobile app can be controlled at the back end and it does change occasionally. (Perhaps CC is doing this to help alleviate some of the server load problems they have been experiencing lately?)

I submitted an App Feedback Ticket regarding all of this to make support aware of all this. Hopefully in the future everything will get fixed.

Yes, it seems to be very closely related, thanks for pointing it out! :-)

My bad, I hadn't checked, if there was already a similar post existing.

In my case, I do not have the app installed,  I run it on newest Firefox browser (109.1.1) on Android 10 (oneUI 2.5 if that is of any importance).

But it seems to produce similar accuracy differences like the one you mentioned, likely for the same reasons.

It says "engine depth 18" when I start game review in Firefox on Android, but i might be that the other player has played and reviewed it on the app, maybe also with different depth settings.

Sounds to me like a potential endless web server loop if chess.com compares accuracies and corrects them if they are different.
