Once seen, it cannot be unseen. I'm pretty sure it's a direct copy of an image from the Kama Sutra.

Well, I guess this is one more post that got out of control. Many people have been offended, and many people have been offended at other people's offendedness, and many people are offended by the fact that they could not find something to be offended about. And now I'm offended that we can't have interesting things happen in this world without people taking it to the extremes. So now I'm locking these comments. 
We don't know why the World Chess Championship committee chose the logo they did. But they did. And it was worth posting about and also sharing the many reactions from top chess players and the media.
It would be wonderful to live in a world where people would relax and not make a huge deal out of everything. Which is what 95% of readers did, and most of those who commented. Unfortunately sometimes it's the vocal minority which ruins the conversation.
Anyway, thanks to everyone who enjoyed this coverage of one of the most unusual twists in world championship chess. Unfortunately, now we find ourselves in an equally awkward position where two different and opposing points of view are getting too close for comfort
