Feature Request: Smarter Bot Chat, Blog Scheduling & Messaging Fixes

Hi Chess.com Team and fellow members,

I wanted to share a few feature ideas and issues that I think could improve the overall experience on the platform:

1. Interactive Bot Chat During Games
Right now, bots only talk at us, but not with us. I'd love to see a two-way conversation system while playing against bots. It would be awesome if the bot could actually respond to our messages during the game, and even after the match ends. It would make the games feel more immersive and fun, especially for those of us who enjoy casual, personality-driven play.

2. Blog Post Scheduling
Just like how Gmail allows us to schedule emails, it would be super helpful if we could schedule our Chess.com blog posts to be published at a specific date and time. This would really help content creators plan ahead, especially those who write series or event-based posts.

3. Messaging Issues (Mobile + Web)

I’ve noticed some bugs and glitches in the messaging system on both the mobile app and the website. Sometimes messages fail to send properly, the notification panel lags or freezes, and occasionally the chat becomes unresponsive. It would be great to see these issues addressed in a future update to make communication on the platform more reliable and smooth.

Thanks for all the work you’re doing already  and  hope these suggestions are helpful!

i agree with im_too-cool2412 do you really think the powers at be read the posts here in the forum ?-- I believe they are are just bots running this show anyway and the one guy at the top, has, in his mind better things to do

MrChatty

They read this but the probability of anything from that list to be implemented is near zero

Nice ideas but chess.com rarely do anything anyone suggests even if a lot of people like it. Not even on their beta club

That's not accurate. However, there are a lot of suggestions and even ones that the site didn't already think of and is something staff things is a good idea, his y something that is ever going to be immediate.

In addition to member suggestions, the site has projects and plans. All potential work has to be prioritized and put into a queue. Work is done based on priorities and availability of developers and project managers to do the work.

This list isn't static either. There are always things being completed, new things being added, changes in priorities, etc. A lot of the time, new projects are going to be more important and get put in front of things that have been in the queue a long time.
