Feature Request: Highlight When Playing a Friend on the Game Screen

Hi Chess.com team,

I’d like to suggest a small UI improvement that would really help when playing games.

Request:
When a game is against someone on my Friends list, please clearly highlight this on the game screen (for example with an icon, label, or subtle banner like “Playing a Friend”).

Why this would be useful:

• I sometimes start games quickly and don’t immediately realize I’m playing a friend.

• It helps set the right mindset (casual vs competitive).

• It avoids awkward moments when reviewing games or chatting afterward.

• The information already exists — it’s just not very visible during play.

Possible implementations:

• A small “👥 Friend” badge near the opponent’s name

• A different color outline around the opponent’s avatar

• A toggleable setting for those who prefer a cleaner UI

This would be a small change but a nice quality-of-life improvement for people who play both friends and random opponents regularly.
