#23 that is depressing. Chess.com made cheesskid for the kids (and adults can play if you go through the sidebar enough) but chess.com has unlimited chat and lots of mean people. We aren't trying so much as to keep the negative impact of the kids in a place where you have to type in binary, we just want to shield them from the mean people that tend to get banned anyways. The titled players and 1000+ are good people generally compared to newer 200-800 so it isn't all age, just maturity. You can be a kid and I won't send armed FIDE staff after you. Just act mature or go to chesskid.

Also if you gat banned with your parents paying a membership they won be happy (yes stop the brainrot #21, 22)

i’m not sure if you are actually 9 or just a teenager joking around, but assuming you are 9, if you think Bobby Fischer is goated, then follow that, and work hard. People’s right to speak should not be defined by their elo. If Bob likes the Grob at 200 and expresses that opinion, he should be able to house that opinion instead of being silenced. Elo is not a caste system.

Thank you for getting my point across, the chess community is sometimes more toxic than Reddit and that’s the reason why some kids should not be allowed on the site. Also kids, what really defines your “rizz” is how you can play. It is not your elo. If you understand the idea of calculation instead of memorised lines, you have truly become the “sigma”, as you would say.

I started this thread in jest and had hoped some here would see the humor in getting whooped by a player shorter than a shoelace. I laughed at the attempted bullying by #21, but winced at the pleas from the kiddies who actually believe I am advocating that they be banned from the site. The ability to laugh at one’s self must come later in life.
