I'm no expert on this subject, but I have found that playing around with the browser zoom setting solved my issues.

When I play chess normally, the board is on max. size, but when I am playing with focus mode, the board is not at max. size. I tried to make it bigger but it only allows me to make it smaller. Is this because of my resolution size? On my old laptop with smaller resolution, this was not a problem.
