Mostly nos but to feel the need to post ...
IIRC Counting threads aren’t allowed on chess.com
That wasn't a counting thread.
Technicality. It's spam all the same.
Lol how is this allowed

Fix your app
Don't post images with expletives because we don't have ocr functionality or processing power or deferred processing capability.
Our autobots are overworked as it is. They're busy muting users who unwittingly quote comments that bypass the filters.
Please be kind to the autobots. They're people too.

The person who violated TOS lasted longer than the person who posted the picture . And autobots don’t effect photo posts.

Off Topic is where all the children congregate. Off Topic is where the majority of the inappropriate threads are. If this is truly a "family friendly" site, why not use basic logic and moderate the place that children will most likely be exposed to the most disgusting posts?
Maybe we need Off Topic, and then a separate forum called "Nonsense" where all the counting/word game/AMA posts go ...the latter forum could draw most of the kids away from the sketchier Off Topic posts. Then, make the forum label variable...show the title as "Lit Like Fire" for the munchkins, and have it show "Nonsense" for everyone else.
Have always advocated for more forum categories

Or automatically just redirect any kid who posts a post with a certain keyword to some other website. Only exception is if the account is a well known community member. Then they get a pass I guess

By some definitions, yes
As said, the rules in Off Topic are more lenient.

Serious question for any Staff who wishes to chime in. I'm just curious, I don't want to start an argument. How come C.C did away with the "unanswered posts" category?...you know, where all the threads start. I thought that's where you could nip things in the bud before they metastasize
That's back now.

two issues have resurfaced.
1. the phone app shows i have games when i do not. going to current games, the app is about five moves behind. if i had no access to a computer i'd lose on time as it hasn't updated in days.
2. the alerts are buggy. again. i have alerts for topics i've been to where the last post was days ago, and ii'm not receiving alerts for other posts.
<i'm glad cc is on top of this stuff, managing the concerns of members in an efficient manner, especially when there are topics like this dedicated to issues we have>
(yes, that's my sarcasm font)
THAT account was muted for maybe a day......he's back.
