Is it just me or do the forums on the app constantly glitch out. When Im reading comments suddenly the rest of them drift away and disappear.
It seems to just be the ios version of the app
Yes, that is exactly what happens to me, now for over 4 months, but chess.com does NOTHING about it. NOTHING. And they just don’t care and say:
"The developers are working on it blah blah blah", and they do NOTHING about it.
"The developers are working on it blah blah blah", and they do NOTHING about it.
The worst part is most of their “support” is just ai with premade options. They need to stop using so much Ai.

I know it's been reported to staff in the past. My understanding is the iOS app uses webview (embedded browser) and there's some interaction with that and the forums code

Forums (along with pretty much any area of the app) are very underdeveloped on the app. Just use the website.
I know but it annoys me that they put the effort to make an app but didnt care enough to make a functioning app. At the very least it could be a usable app.
notifications don't work on safari on iOS. And for me notifications are critical for me. That's the only real app feature, other than offline bots, that I use
You know what they made sure does work though? Ads. Those work great, which should tell you everything you need to know.
No kidding I just started experiencing full screen unskippable ads on both Android and iOS apps to buy the premium subscription
I had 4 kids in our household on premium subscriptions, but not me (just to save money). When the unskippable full screen ads started popping up for me, I canceled all the chess.com subscriptions. I doubt my 4 subs matter much to chess.com since it’s valued at over a billion dollars but maybe if enough people cancel it will help send a message. Doubtful, I know. But hey, I feel better for it anyway.
I was strongly considering getting premium but now I'm not spending a dime on this app
Maybe Im speaking too soon but the latest update to the iOS app seems to have fixed the issue with the comments drifting away

All we can really do to influence chess.com decisions is to stop giving them money. I have an issue with a certain policy so I refuse to give them money until they fix it.
There are players I don't want to play against, but they weren't blocked before. I get the black pieces and he quickly makes the first move. How do I decline the game? Note: I'm playing on a computer.
You can abandon a game before your first move.
