I'm not aware of any issues with Game Review

If you're trying to run a review immediately after a game, it's possible that it isn't in the archive yet. Have you tried running it from there?

When I get a message that says, "Game review is currently not working. We apologize and are working to fix it," it leads me to believe that something isn't working the way it's supposed to. It eventually does work--maybe that has something to do with the archive, which I don't know anything about--but it sometimes takes a long time. If that's just the way it's supposed to work due to the archive, then maybe a different message would be more appropriate.

It could be an issue with your browser, an extension, or security settings. Try in a different browser or in a private mode

Well, this seemed to have been fixed for a while, but now it's doing it again. I have to keep clicking on the "game review" button and then closing the new window with the error message and eventually I'll get a game review instead of the error message. Sometimes it takes half a dozen attempts or more. Really annoying.

What browser and browser version are you on?

Did you use a custom position?

Chess.com won't calculate a review for certain custom positions.

It won't review chess variants either. That's when I have gotten that message.

Not a custom position or variant. I hit "game review" after completing a blitz or rapid game.

Running Firefox version 127.0.

I've cancelled my membership because of this. Offering membership benefits that don't work feels like a bit of a scam tbh. I've looked but can't seem to find any technical support available on Chess.com. Perhaps there's something buried in the forums?

There have been a few similar reports but I don't think there's had been anything that points to a reason it might not be working consistently for those members with issues.

There is support by using the Help option in the menu.

Which browser are you using?

This problem is worse at certain times of day, like right now (1900 CDT). Could it be that when the server is too busy to launch the "Game Review" right away, then certain browsers with certain settings (mine is Firefox in private mode) elicit the error message instead of just waiting until the server becomes available? It always works eventually, but sometimes I have to push that damn "Game Review" button ten times or more first.
