Give us the option to opt out of playing against new accounts

New accounts are more often than not, cheaters or smurfs. Both are an incredibly frustrating experience. Pretty much everytime I play, I run into this exact experience. Playing against an account made "1 hour ago" is almost unilaterally a very negative experience.

How is this not considered a bigger issue. In other competitive games, there are significantly more barriers to entry? 
In League of legends you need to be level 30 before playing ranked, which equates to roughly about ~100 hours of gameplay. In Dota 2 you need 100 hours of unrated gameplay and a verififed phone number. Smurfing is a bannable offense in Dota with both your smurf and main accounts being banned when caught. 
In this game, I can boot up a new account start cheating right away or terrorizing ratings where I do not belong instantly. Mind you, you can close your own account before you get caught cheating. This leads to way too many low quality games.

You have the option. It's called abort.

I primarily play bullet. This is not a real solution for me to lose time checking every single players profile before I play.

Everyone wouldn't do this, especially not at an ELO that a genuinely new player would be playing at - 1200 and below.

You can do this already in daily chess. Just play that if it's such a big deal to you.

Suggesting daily instead to a bullet player is like suggesting tai chi to a boxer.

This is a big deal to not just me, but many players. In fact this issue more than likely has impacted you at one point or another, whether you realize it or not.

I think this is a relevant time for a "chess lesson". There are many "chess lessons" to be learned on the chess board that are metaphors for your very life. I can point out innumerable parallels between chess and life, and when we learn these lessons on the chess board, we can apply them to our lives. This makes us better chess players, and better people. Here are some of the lessons we are all supposed to learn while we're on the journey called "Chess":

It doesn't matter if you're black or white. Play well, and anyone can win.

The pieces work better TOGETHER.

Everyone makes mistakes.

Never give up.

And the most important lesson that we are supposed to learn on the chess board?

It's just a game.

It's just a game, man. Relax.

? So because it's "just a game" that means there are no valid complaints to be made about how this site runs said game? Chess is a hobby for me, and because it's "just a game" I'd like for the time I spend playing it to be fun, because games are for fun right? Well it sure isn't fun playing against new accounts that are blatantly smurfs/cheating.

I didn't say that because of this there are no valid complaints. That's a bit of a straw man. What I'm kind of obviously saying, is to not get worked up about it. Cheaters cheat. That's what they do. It's just a game. You move on with life. Your choice about letting it ruin your game...day...life...whatever...is just that. A choice. Click - report - move on. There is so much more to put energy into. The good games you have, just as a for instance.

Very accurate, but not sure they have a solution.

This is a huge issue in daily chess tournaments as well. Both live and daily tournaments attract cheaters for who knows what reasons (the "prestige" of winning a newbie tournament?).

So simply resigning against new accounts is not a solution. Also, even if they do get caught cheating and banned while the tournament is ongoing you get the rating back but you still have the loss in the tournament standings.

So I guess the answer is not to play bullet, not to play tournaments, and just let the smurfs have their fun and hope the regular players won't notice and/or get annoyed enough to unsub from this website?

Tournaments can restrict with a minimum number of games too, you can join one of those if you like.
