sometimes when i play my timer goes DOWN when i make a move and my opponents timer goes UP when he does one! who else has this problem?
To my knowledge there could be a few reasons for this 1. You're playing with increment (so in the play options, it would say something like blitz: 3 | 2) meaning after every move you will gain time. The second number is the amount of incremental time. Your opponent could be either premoving or moving so fast that the added time outweighs the time he spent on the move. 2. You could have bad internet connection, connection issues, hardware problems or are experiencing some chesscom glitch that messes with the player times.
