Have Premium. Still getting ads.

Okay, so I went and got Premium services.   It's okay, but I'm still getting advertisements.  A pop-up asking me if I want to do a puzzle is an advertisement for the website.   This is essentially solicitation that I didn't ask for.    So, premium membership removed advertisements EXCEPT for the ones from chess.com

Please get rid of pop-up advertisements.  Everyone who has premium membership already realizes that puzzles exist on the site.  We don't need, or want, your garbage pop-ups.

That's not considered advertising. You can disable the feature in your settings under Settings > Home Settings > Coach Nudges

Thank you for the reply. My points stand. Annoying pop up that every premium member already knows about.

Having to uncheck Coach Nudges is the most unintuitive thing I've seen all week. What a bunch of convoluted nonsense.

Whoever thought that adding this ridiculous feature should definitely do Chess.com a favor and go work for the competition.

How are coach nudges ads?!?!

They are Reminders for puzzles and lessons! I agree that there should be a button on the pop up to turn them off though

I've had system popups interfere with my ability to play the game by covering the board, and by appearing on the side and distracting me from the game. These aren't trivial when you play bullet. Generally, popups are a nuisance, and on chess.com they're a scourge.

Oh, so sorry but the discount went away before your transaction went through, so you get the premium, but you still get ads if you want those to go away, please pay 1000$
