Just make your move and confirm it, just as you would with your daily games. The position on the board does revert back and you might think that your move wasn't recorded, but you'll know that your move has in fact been logged if you are then able to see who voted for which candidate move.

u just move normally if your talking about it doesnt let you move, that hapened to me too. Just refresh ur page or try again and it worked for me

you can see if u played the move on the icon on the top left of the notation

I’m running out of time quickly, and it still says it’s my move! I’ve refreshed AND restarted it. I need help!

As @WSama said in post #2, the vote chessboard goes back to the previous move after you enter your move.
The checkmark tab will tell you the move you voted for.

I got it! When time runs out it plays the votes! I thought you would lose when time runs out
