If you go on the link you should get an achievement. If you have already visited the site, then you obviously don't get the achievemnet.

A load of hoo-ha!

That's the best I can say, given the bot police.

1. Browse to https://www.chess.com/play/computer.
2. Play a game with any bot.
3. When game is finished, click Game Review or Analysis to save the game. This is proof that you actually played a bot.
4. In the lower left of your screen, click Help | Report a Bug.
5. Write that you played a bot but did not get the Man vs. Machine achievement. Ask to send you the achievement.
6. Click Send.

I received mine the next day.

I wrote a blog/guide several years back on this. It's outdated now, but it still has a good portion of the current hidden achievements.
