How to block ALL chat messages on the android app - Chess Forums

Hello, I was wondering if I someone could tell me how to block all chat messages on the android app. I have searched the forums and the net, and I can't find any of the setting mentioned. I can block chat on 'Daily' matches apparently, but I was playing Blitz.

I have been enjoying an evening of blitz games (the first time I've played chess in a long time) and I lose a close game on time and I receive a gloating message from my opponent - and basically it makes me want to stop playing chess completely and forget about it.

I am on a trial membership at the moment, if I can permanently block such trolling, fair enough I will continue, but if not the app will be deleted straight away - it has absolutely ruined a nice evening.

I think that "safe mode" stops all chat.

You really can't let them get to you.

Yeah, I know I can and will delete the app - I don't want to have my enjoyment ruined by these people.

I was just wondering if there was a way around it - why should I be subjected to the words of people I do not wish to read? I'm playing chess because I used to play chess with my dad years ago, he died recently and so this app forces me to be laughed at by annoying little idiots in my grief, when surely there must be some easy setting so I can just play games against something other than the all destroying stockfish - without a loss on TP seeing me treated as if I am the village idiot.
