I had the beta option two days ago but didn't join. Now the option is gone. Is there a way to opt "in" to beta? I am a diamond member in case it matters.

I hate updates. A number of them trying to push me on my laptop (not chess.com related), but they lead to trouble in 90% of the cases. If it works well, don’t fix it.
