I would like a way to disable click to move (i.e. I only want drag to move)

For years on chess.com I have had this problem where I will be moving a piece, decide against the move, then try to let go of the piece and maybe accidentally click somewhere.  Then what happens is I get a totally undesirable, random move of the original piece because click to move engaged.

I just went into settings and saw that I have 'drag to move' selected, yet it says right in there that both will still be available.

I want only drag to move to move the piece.  There are too many weird side effects of having both available.  I have even seen this happen to streamers and sometimes they get pretty pissed off.

  Thank you for your consideration!

I checked my settings and they seem to be mutually exclusive (ie if one is selected the other cannot be). This is a copy of my settings; the drop down arrow has selected drag to move, meaning click to move isn't available.)

If you look at the ? to the left of "drag pieces" it states that you can always use either input method.  I can confirm that even with "drag pieces" selected, it still allows you to use click to move and that is what causes the problem.

Looks like you're correct (just tried it out on Daily Puzzle). Seems odd. I have never had a problem (just lucky?); however, I only play daily time controls and maybe that's why? Good luck.
