an idea yes. an actionable one? No. reason being that trolls can and will attempt to get random people on the board for no reason.

I just received an angry message from a guy I beat in 1 minute King of the hill tournament. He said “F you, you cheat” on my message board. Or something close to that. I was going to respond as you do when a jerk accuses you of something just because they’re a sore loser. And guess what? He only takes conversations from friends? What a baby coward am I right?
Now it’s obvious these type of people are emboldened to say these kinds of things to people online because they don’t have to look people in the face when they say them.
My idea is to create a “ runner”, not sure if that’s the correct term or not, but like the thing at the bottom of CNN. It could be one of those and it could display the names of sore losers who decide to accuse people of things or if they call people names they should go on it instantly. It would be like a wall of shame I guess. There should definitely be a list of all these people somewhere. And I think it would be a good way to shame people who feel the need to do this.
Some, if not most, might say just to ignore them, but that just feels like enabling them. I feel that chess. Com should try to find something to discourage this kind of behavior. The gall of these people is sickening. It would be very easy, Chess.com would get notified when a person leaves a nasty message then chess.com personnel could look into the message to confirm it. Then they would be added to the list. You guys should consider doing something either way though. Hope to hear from Chess. Com personnel.
