Oh and no I am not showing hate on this website, in fact I love this website . It's much better than the competition, but then this thing sucks as far as I am concerned.
Insane Rules Of chess.com
Sorry about that, chess.com was thinking that you left the app/website, happens a lot to players. It's just to prevent players from abandoning the game in a losing position.
Yes, you have got a good point in there that people will abandon their losing positions. However I am not saying to have such a feature in Rapids, yes that can be extremely annoying in Rapids but Blitz are so short to the fact that by the time they get to a losing position most of their time is lost, what can waiting for a 1 minute and 50 seconds do to you at max? Nothing much, right?
Hi guys, I was playing a blitz a little while back. I was almost a full Queen up (I was 8 points up) and then something extremely bad happened I lost my connection for a few seconds and bam they declared me as the loser... WHAT? This is just insane.. I had lost my connection for a couple of seconds and they just declared me as the loser despite me having more than a minute on a clock when my opponent even had less time than I did, okay I do understand that during a rapid game or even a daily game this may come off as handy. As a lot of people may just walk away for no reason for a while in rapid games, but BLITZ? Really? They are 3 minutes long.. After all even if someone gets to a disappointing result how much more time would they have on the clock left anyway? A minute or so or 2 minutes at best? Come on man at least give this much time to come back, losing like this is very upsetting. Once again I understand the rules but if you see my point, a blitz is just 3 minutes, there is not even a good chance that anyone's time will be wasted, can't opponents wait for 1 minute? What is your opinion on this guys to me this is absolutely ridiculous, but then again that is my opinion I think they should definitely remove the time that they give us to come back and exchange it for the time we have left on our clocks.
