New Feature Idea – Live Video Chat While Playing!

Hey everyone,

I’ve been thinking—it would be amazing if Chess.com added a live video chat option for games and lessons. Imagine being able to:

See and talk to your opponent while playing.

Have real-time, face-to-face lessons with a coach—no need to switch to Zoom or Discord.

Add a more social, personal feel to friendly matches.

Use it in tournaments for commentary or player interaction.

It could be optional, with privacy controls to turn video/audio on or off at any time.

I feel this would make Chess.com an even more interactive and community-driven place. Coaches and students would especially benefit, and it might even attract new premium members.

What do you all think? Would you use it?

The Classroom feature has that option. I don't imagine games ever will.
