New Premove mechanics

New Premove mechanics are very difficult to follow. by actually premoving the piece now, it's very difficult to follow when the Premove becomes invalid due to opponent move.
Do people actually prefer this to the old style?

I have only seen one other topic similar to yours. How are you accessing the site?
As far as I'm aware, premoves still work the same way they used to
Yes, I hate the new premoves graphics or moves. Pieces must remain, not move.

So, I found out Android is being updated to the same mechanic the website has. In that case, when you make a premove, the piece you premove actually will show on the destination square.
This is in preparation to support multiple premoves.

They have removed the option for now and my understanding is that it will be a setting, but I think if multiple premoves are selected, that's the format you'll get.
The new format is still active for me. Do I need to do something to get rid of it?

My understanding is the last version was pulled from being available. So an uninstall/reinstall might load the previous one. I think there's also going to be a new version with the rollback added to the store, but I'm not 100% positive on that

The change to premoves was reverted but requires a new version. Before it rolls out again, there should be a setting option to enable it (as part of multiple premoves)

I think I was going crazy thinking is it just me that is finding this mechanic absolutely annoying. I thought a google search would get me a thread, but nothing showed, until I came to the forums! This is my first time here in like 10 years of using this app, glad to see I'm not the only annoyed one.
So uninstalling and reinstalling did the trick! My sanity is back!
