Yet an other uncalled design change because... the new design intern needed something to do?

One of the reasons we added the single Analysis toggle with advanced options in the ellipsis (...) menu next to it is that we are starting to support more features in Analysis and there is not room for all of them to be top level toggles. If you look in the menu, you will see that you have options for Move Feedback (get classifications as you make moves in Analysis without having to run Game Review) and Suggestion Arrow (get an arrow to show you the best move on the board). We have even more coming here in the future that will give you even more tools to help you with your analysis experience
Wow, can't believe I was complaining. So worth the added inconvenience because now we have the added option of a green arrow to illustrate what the engine means when it gives us cryptic lines like h3 or Nc6. Can I put in a request for animations that make the knight prance its way to the new square?
Why doesn't game review tell you what opening you've played anymore??
The Analysis tab has the opening name. Though it probably would be nice if the last book move included the information too.
That's so dumb. I'd love to know the reason for adding all of these extra steps to get information that was previously easily accessible.

Yet nobody on the Chess.com team is able to tell us what the goals for this redesign were and how they are trying to accomplish them. Even their own Support page doesn't make any sense, because it says the redesign 'makes it easier to read' while the speech bubble ignores dark mode and 'enhance your experience' while explaining features requires more clicks than before. I have never heard someone say: "Oh thank god I have to do click on move classifications every time, it was such a hassle to have everything right in front of me immediately."

Looks very much like it though. And there doesn't seem any UX process behind it either.
You can't convince me that there isn't some other reason for implementing this change, I'm sorry. Everything used to be in 1 place, you had the summary of the move classifications, you could easily follow along 1 page, the coach's text was logically placed next to the move, when you made a move in game review you'd automatically go to the analysis tab etc etc etc,... Now the summary of the move classifications isn't even complete unless you press that little arrow, then you have to press a button to start the review, the summary of the move classifications disappears there, you have to click on analysis instead of it doing it automatically when making a move, the name of the opening doesn't show anymore, everything is zoomed in 17000% for some apparent reason etc etc etc. I'm utterly disappointed with this update, at least give users the choice between the old and new interface.
I've read the support article about the redesign. It says "You'll also notice the Move Classifications are now more prominent and easier to read".
Yes, they are more prominent, but not easier to read; in fact, I think it's harder now. It was much clearer in the old version.
this news is probably the most stupid thing I have ever heard. the new review is AWFUL
worse than that: the arrogance of the people behind this change is staggering. you have refused to listen to well-reasoned feedback, and I will be cancelling my paid membership as a result as the new review is far worse than the excellent former version

oh - so now you need to click away to see information which was visible in the old version?
what genius thought that was a good idea?

not just stupid - arrogant too
chess.com will hopefully figure out that making things worse for paying users (free users only get 1 review per day) is a Very Bad Idea

I was about to say we might as well just copy the PGN into lichess for analysis now, and I can't seem to find FEN or PGN on the game review/analysis pages now???

I can't find any other logic for making things worse than they were before. maybe the head honchos wanted to display their disregard for the opinions of the site's paying users?
the new system sucks, but hey, we're only the folks who pay your wages so we don't matter

The share option is at the bottom of the Analysis tab/section

after the latest changes, I'm expecting you to advance to a totally unusable site with poor user experience. what's the point in adding features in such a way that existing, usable and well-designed interfaces get downgraded? it makes no sense at all
I have also just cancelled my membership.
If this is the design direction chess.com insist on taking, then I'm out.
I'm playing a game more than a thousand years old - I don't want avatars, animations, bold colors and flash-bang text-bubles.
I most certainly agree. The new game review interface makes checking for mistakes and best moves very difficult and inefficient. Please chess.com, go back to the old design !

Actually, there was a bug that's been fixed but recent reviews may not show until the run ages out of cache.
