New type of chess move rank?

So, go explain "godly" to an entity that can't even grasp an idea that is only "human", lol. Good luck with that.

isnt that "godly" move just a brilliant move? what's the difference? Regular brilliant move are only given when "unfindable sacrifices" are played. as for hard to see moves, how do you judge that?

I feel like instead of creating a whole new move category, maybe the ops could just change the normal brilliancy graphics to this. that would be a better idea I feel like. feel free to argue though and I am open to suggestions.

You can be "open to suggestions" whenever you are able to do or change something. Are you that?

Brilliants are sacrifices that are good or best. There are some rules around it, such as the position wasn't completely winning without finding the move and some rating considerations are taken; some sacrifices likely won't be brilliant for a higher rated player that would for a lower rated one.

Well it that case why don't it be a a sacrifice of a peice for checkmate that is great for a 700 but is just a great move for a chess Grandmaster.

I think he meant moves that 500's would find brilliant would be ordinary moves from GM's

Utkarsho

Yeah but not completely ordinary but a little bit impressive.

Here is another example of a godly move.

So, recently @Gothamchess made a new video on youtube about a move in chess that is very crazy. We all know inaccuracy, Mistake, Blunder, Great move, best move and obviously our all time favorite, a brilliant move. But According to him there should be a higher ranking for great chess moves in chess.com.

And so thus I got up for it's rank. And I believe that this logo and name will be perfect for the move.

The icon!

And the name is: Godly move!!!

So, I request all the staffs and mods to add the godly move feature in chess.com. I would really love to see the purplish-bluish icon (logo) to appear when a move like that is played in the game review or the analysis. This move will have a higher value than brilliant and it should be very rare.

Tell me in the comments what you think about this.

hey i have what u need

You should specify how to get a move like this.
Great is the only good move in the position.
Brilliant sacrifices material to get some other advantage.
Godly moves… do what?

#6 no, I queen sacrificed for a back rank mate once. I had done 100 puzzles like that, so it was easy.

It's been a year, but I think this is a good idea. @Martin_Stahl, could you and the team at least try to find a way to program this, if not, ii's ok.
