It's so damn distracting, it's constant, I even restarted my computer.

Do you have an ad blocker? If so, try disabling that.

I got a bunch of issues with "page unresponsive" on chrome today. Is this happening to anyone else? Are you aware of any issues of the sort?

My browser is Google Chrome Version 100.0.4896.75 (Official Build) (64-bit) on Windows 10.

Yeah, I'm getting it a lot. It's not annoying enough for me to care about (yet). Of course it helps that I'm not playing games.

I assume it's like Martin said, associated with adblock.

Sometimes you can fix this sort of thing by getting the latest version of adblock. Of course you can also just disable it (or buy a membership).

Guess I'm going to Lichess, have a nice one.

Same for me. I think we are starting to see the uglier side of chess.com. I won't be sticking around if this continues

A lot of the people with the issue have been running an ad blocker that apparently doesn't like something in the chess.com code. I pretty sure the site didn't add code to purposely cause issues with those, but are also unlikely to test the site against them either.

lol, I didn't even consider that's what @TacoNacho1994 meant... they thought it was on purpose...

If you click exit it only happens per session, it's honestly ok.

Same problem here, hope someone from chess.com team sees this and gets it fixed!

Happening to me now, very annoying.

I'm going to download firefox lol

For those with the issue running an ad blocker, what one(s) are being used?

Thanks to everyone who reported this issue over the last few days. Sorry about the pain here. Right now we think that the issue was caused by a change made by an ad vendor. They have rolled back that change, and we're monitoring closely over the next few hours to see if the problem continues.
