I appreciate what chess.com is trying to do with merging the two platforms, but some people [including me] prefer a less cluttered and simpler version to theplay[beta] monster - also, while keeping two different code bases may be hard, I don't see why beta testing/bug fixing could've not been the default, allowing people to experience that same great chess experience.
