Playing vs computer should have the option to confirm moves

I'm actually sort of amazed people have been talking about this for years and it still hasn't been implemented. This is the third time in a few days I've lost a bot game because I made an unintended move on mobile because of a misclick and wasn't asked to confirm. It's ruining bot games for me, which I want to play with no take-backs like I would a normal daily/correspondence game. So I search to see if I'm missing anything I come here and find that people have been asking for this since 2021? What's the problem - surely it wouldn't take much to implement an option that already exists elsewhere on the app? This would be the single best Quality of Life improvement for this app for me at the moment.
Echoing other people here, just restarting the match or playing with undos isn't a suitable fix for me. The first one just wastes my time (especially as I'm trying to play these games as well as I can) and the second one is a habit I want to steer clear of and doesn't match how I play people.
