Please create a "Download all" button in the Archive page

Hi,

Well, pretty straightforward: please implement a button that will allow users to download all games searched in My Archive. For example: I'm trying to download all of my games where I've played the French defense with black and I have 1,184 games, 50 games per page, that's 24 pages. Right now I have to click on the "select all games on the page" button for every single page... 24 times in order to get 24 PGN files.

It'd be great if there was a button that would allow us to download everything we have in the search results (i.e. download all of my 1,184 games in 1 single PGN file) at once with one single click. That's in my opinion a very basic feature we've been lacking for very long.

Thanks.

We used to have that way back when...I think it's gone because instead of downloading to a database, folks would download the whole thing every time they wanted to search for something and it chewed up too much bandwidth.  Actually I don't even understand what "chewed up too much bandwidth" means, but someone real smart used the phrase here and I stole it...wink.png

Thanks for the insight. It makes a lot of sense. Actually I just created (well, modified to be precise) a Python3 script that downloads all archive files via the Chess.com API, so I'm good so far.

I have no idea what you wrote, but if you're happy, I'm happy.  happy.png

Haha... OK, in English grin.png: I created a program that downloads all of my games at once.
