Hey @monkey-armory 👋
Completely agree — having a proper poll feature built into Chess.com would be helpful, especially for things like club decisions, community bot naming, or forum-wide votes. Right now, calling something a “poll” usually just means reading through replies, which isn’t ideal or accurate.
A simple built-in poll tool (like what YouTube or Discord uses) would make community input much more organised and transparent. It would also cut down on the confusion when users try to tally results manually or use external sites just to get feedback.
Great suggestion — I hope the Chess.com team takes a look at this. Would love to see something like it rolled out!

There are many forums that have the word poll in the title but when push comes to shove these people are just reading the comments it is not a real poll system. Chess.com should give people the ability to make polls on the website similar to YouTube or other websites. I have seen many times when this could be super helpful including the create a community bot where an a vote was held and seemingly given to a name that did not actually have the most votes. If polls were a choice on chess.com posts the candidates could be placed onto a poll and a real vote could be held.
This could also be good in clubs where admin elections are held and people need to resort to using straw polls or other external sites.
