Premove

Premoves should be enabled by default. I have hard time understanding how a leading chess site like chess com keeps it off so that everyone has to turn it on. It's ridiculous. Sometimes I have played on another computer anonymously and then it doesn't have premoves...

If it was in by default members would be posting about moves they were made that they didn't intend. The premove function is more useful to those with a lot of online Chess experience and that's not the vast majority of members, especially when they first join.

Both Lichess and FIDE online arena have them enabled by default. I have never heard or seen anyone complain about having premoves on. I have seen even master levels players on their alternative accounts on chess com trying to get premoves on during a game. Claiming that not having premoves on is somehow beginner friendly sounds as if getting used to it is some major endeavor, not to mention that it doesn't even have to be used.

It's probably so new players don't think it's a built in analysis function and go premoving then completely losing every piece
