If this has been "Removed" then why is it still showing up?

Why is it getting new comments from app users?

Why don't topics like this get locked before being being "Removed"? The site already knows about this problem so shouldn't Mods be trained to"Lock it then Block it"

It's an app related issue and the poster is already muted.

"the poster is already muted." But people are still allowed to post on that thread if they use the app.

A very simple solution would be to lock the thread before "Removing" it.

Except in this particular case, the bug doesn't allow that to happen. It's a combination issue of muted accounts and the app interaction. The member is already muted, the app allows the post, but it can't be loaded on the website, just shows in the list.

Staff are aware of the issue and hopefully will get it fixed soon.

That's an unfortunate oversight of cross-platform usage. How irregular.

Additionaly, about locked/closed threads - shouldn't "Follow" checkbox still appear at "checked" state (talking about website version) if I am following it, even if thread is locked meh ? When it does not, I can't "unfollow" thread, even if I don't want to follow it anymore. This way I got permanently followlocked threads (two already in my case) in the "You follow" menu/list which I can;t get rid of and I don't want them there anymore.

In general, locked topics aren't going to have replies, so you'll never get a notification from them again. So there usually isn't a need, in most cases, to show the option on them.

I know I very probably won't get any reply/new post in locked topic, but it has not to be mine thread, but can be someone's (else). I meant problem getting rid of it in the "You follow" list. For example:

If I enter now in one of locked threads, there is no way to "unfollow" ir. I can understand there is text "This thread has been locked" (or something like that, in my case in polish) instead of standard textbox, as reply/adding something is not possible, but also there is no follow votechess (checkbox) which could be unhooked or at least some button saying "stop following". Because of that followed (some time earlier) by me and then locked threads will stay on my followed list forever without possibility of removing it. I know, maybe it is not so big importance issue, but could be useful if that checkbox would appear in "checked" state (conditionally, only if thread is still currently followed) on the right side of "This thread has been locked" text.
