It just happened to me the fourth time. The game was close, my opponent quit making moves. The panel begins flashing. The opponent apparently knows exactly when the game will be considered abandoned. The opponent makes a move with less than a second left. That move is recorded as the last and the game is declared abandoned. I was docked 8 points for abandoning the game. The last two times it happened the culprits were [<public accusations not allowed -- MS] The person who made the last legitimate moves has not alternative but to wait or abandon the game. If they abandon they will be docked. If not they will be docked. Apparently, the system does not allow a thumbs down report from the person it incorrectly declares abandoned the game. Has anyone else experienced this? Any solutions?
