The Covid-19 pandemic was a terrible time. Many loved ones were lost, it sometimes felt like the end of the world as we knew it. Your wonderful chess app helped bring me back into the world of chess. It was much needed therapy (helped me write an entire book, in fact!) as the lockdowns made the world a much darker place. Sorry if I am vague, but I just want to tell each and every one of the Chess.com team, I love you all and this is a very special app you’ve created (and continue to improve!). I’ve since begun playing in FIDE rated otb standard and rapid tournaments, and your app has been terrific in helping me prepare. There are other reasons I play on Chess.com, it makes me happy, and as I become older and more forgetful, I feel I will need this to hopefully keep dementia and alzheimer’s away. Thank you so much for all you’ve done for me, and the joy you’ve brought millions of others around the globe. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the Philippines!
