Well ai generated images are okay as profile pictures because it's not easy to find or create exactly what you want which ai helps with. But it is sometimes used wrong

Personally I'm fine with AI generated images. It's people using AI generated text that I hate.

Go to my profile and you will see a wolf on a hill with lightning in the background.
I like AI for a background or a PFP.
But AI text triggers me cause people should write themselves.

AI text is bad. If your in an article and AI generate a response you aren't giving your own opinions or perspectives, just what the AI is fed that allows it to respond, which is usually a combination of a lot of other peoples opinions mashed together into an amalgam of word/info dump.
AI Images? I don't really think they're hurting anyone nor are they doing anything wrong. An AI generated image for a profile picture or background is fine, unless they put inappropriate AI generated content as their PFP or background. Profile pictures don't hurt anyone...
