Is your browser version up to date?

It’s an iMac. Doesn’t happen on mobile app or when I use Safari. Version is up to date. Opened in “safe” mode and still doesn’t get rid of problem. I didn’t knowingly ad any extension
The icons of taken pieces are only letters. Instead of showing the font of pieces.

The chess.com support team identified the problem in the "fonts" setting. All fixed.
Starting a few days ago, symbols I don't understand showed up on my pages. For example, in game analysis, instead of "<" to go to previous move, there is a "#". I'd appreciate any info on how to get back to the original settings. These aren't showing up on mobile app.
