The Move Method option in settings STILL is not working.

I have set, under Settings > Board & Pieces > Piece Movement > Move Method this setting to "Click Squares". I have clicked "Save Preferences" and the setting remains the same when I refresh. But still, when I go to the analysis board (after refreshing!) I am still able to use the Drag method.
This issue has apparently been in existence until as far back as 2018 and is still not fixed. The top result on google doesn't seem to have any attention, nor the other threads and I wish to bring this to chess.com's staff's attention.
