well, I got used to the new update

people tend to complain over the old one and this is the developers making changes to the UI to make sure that it is working more better, I prefer this more than the old one, the live chat and the dm are in one spot, better to navigate overall and you can customize your own sidebar which is something I was needing for a long time.

This reminds me of the puzzle elo change where people were panicking about the change, not all changes are good but most turn out to be needed in the end, downvote me if you must but the truth still remains, you cannot change the fact that the new UI is mostly likely going to stay.

It's like most computer programs. People have to justify their jobs so they come out with different stuff that's not better just different and usually worse. Peak interfaces happen after a few versions and occasionally a new technology makes things better but usually not. The best office and windows was like 2 decades ago!

Updates are site driven decisions; it's not work to justify jobs. There's too many things going on to create busy work

The new update fricking sucks. I hate it, it makes life harder, I hate that in the notifs different types of notifications aren't separated by category but just lumped together.

I think it's dumb and unnecessary and yes, I'll adjust, but it's still frickin stupid. PLEASE ADD AN OPTION TO CUSTOMISE CHESS.COM'S UI
