Ok , and what about an upgrade seek filter?
I know it's been suggested before but have no idea on how likely one is

They've been suggested for years, and Chess.com has shown zero interest in implementing any of them, so I think the likelihood is "vanishingly small"
This business of games defaulting to losses without playing a single move is garbage and needs to come to an end! Yes, I have aborted or refused to play move 1 because I refuse to play fraudulent new accounts. You guys know you have a major problem here with cheaters and yet you do not offer a seek filter that blocks suspicious newcomers. I am tired of being paired with new accounts with 2000+ ratings with accuracy levels of 90% and higher with inhuman win streeks Only to find out a month later the account got closed. Getting awarded points for a single game of cheaters is not compensation because playing these accounts drain your stamina and confidence which effects all the games going forward. To compensate, I started to examine accounts before making my first move. We reserve the right to refuse to play in the same way Magnus refused to play Hans. So now by the infinite wisdom at chess.com I lost abort rights and was hit with multiple losses without playing a single move. Ether the seek filter needs to be upgraded with more choices of the type of account we play or the abort option is restored without penalty. You guys at Chess.com have not thought this thing through and need to do better. This is unacceptable.
