How do I send a suggestion?
If you have any ideas for new features that you'd like to see on Chess.com or any overall improvements that could be made, send them our way! We're interested in hearing your ideas!
Here's how you can do it:
Click the cogwheel icon ('Settings') in the bottom-left corner of any Chess.com page and select 'Help & Support' to open the contact widget.
You’ll be immediately taken to a new conversation window. Click '👋 Start conversation' to begin.
You’ll see a suggestion to check the Help Center; click 'Get more help' to continue.
Enter 'Make a suggestion' when asked for keywords about your request.
If your idea isn’t already covered, click 'Submit a suggestion for a new feature.'
Write your suggestion in the text field and send your message. If you’d like to add more details (like screenshots or recordings), click 'Yes, let me add more.'
On web, use the paperclip icon.
On mobile, tap the + icon next to the text box.
Once you’ve added any extra info, your suggestion will be sent directly to our team!
One thing in the Danish UI is rather misleading. Unfortunately it is the first item in the main menu - in English it is called "Play" - but in Danish it has been translated to "Afspil". This word does not make sense in the context - "afspil" (~ playback) is something you can do with music or a film, but the correct term for playing a game like chess would be "spil".
In the sub menu the correct Danish term is being used (. "Spil online", "Spil mod computere", "Spil mod træner") - but it would be nice to see the correct term in the main menu as well.
