very low ratings playing almost perfect book moves

Although I get compensated for people cheating I don’t seem to get back the rating points I have lost. I win against players higher than me, draw or lose to better players but get slammed when a 700 player comes along and plays a perfect game. Which is very suspicious and never seem to get back to a reasonable level.

/ The truth is you were lost after your 3rd move in your last game. It seems likely you do not know what the proper book moves are.

Thanks I was unaware!

@redalderman, a 700 player may play a decent game, especially if you mess up early.

I messed up. Takes so long to get rating up the 15 point drop for one of these games is frustrating. Back to the books!

@redalderman If you're referring to your last game https://www.chess.com/analysis/game/live/4845759782 , note that your opponent also blundered multiple times until it got simple at move 12. So, that doesn't look suspicious.

My solution is I play my faster time controls on another site.  I don't think there is a lot more that chess.com can do about engine/bot use other than what they are already doing. Its too easy to disguise by playing 2nd or 3rd choice engine moves when you need to tip the balance, certainly at the intermediate levels and below. Lose a few and climb the ladder discreetly will stop you getting noticed. Maybe the standards on here are so high that a 1000 is equivalent to a 2000 elsewhere?  Or is it a case of just because your paranoid and made a few bad moves don't mean they're not cheating you? Further discussion for the cheating forum perhaps.

I'm literally watching a 600 rated player score 96% accuracy as we speak against multiple players. I tired of this BS. Chess.com should just put accounts on hold that score randomly high accuracy for several games above their level. Its BS. DamienLuisin.....

are you sure it's not a new player that hasn't played enough games to establish their real rating?

They're easy to spot, because you can see them play at their skill level, and lose a lot...then all of as sudden produce 90%+ accuracy performances, not just as one off but over a 50 move game. I just don't get it? is everybody else so lazy at reporting them? take a look at that user I posted above. They're either a smurf or using an engine. I don't give them the respect of the former.
