Website experience on mobile is terrible

The website is pretty bad on mobile. Here's a few criticisms:

1. Slow

2. Ugly

3. Basic ux is one of the worst I've ever seen. Doesn't fit to screen. Doesn't change layout. Basic web design considerations. Even clicking on this to type, the whole screen gets shoved up beyond the text due to incorrectly positioned elements.

4. Pre-moves have to be cancelled by scrolling down the aforementioned too-large frame to manually select one of two tiny buttons

5. Incessant, multiple ads after every game and a forced analysis that completely ruins the experience, and makes the whole experience a jittery mess

It's chess. It shouldn't be this bad. This site should be blazing fast and beautifully curated. Stop automatic analysis - we get it, you want hundreds of dollars to host stockfish on AWS. This is why I have never even considered, and never will, premium.

I use mobile web 80+ percent of the time and most things work really well given smaller screens and space constraints.

For 5, you can disable that in your settings.

Thanks that's really helpful.

It's probable that they didn't optimise for all devices/screen ratios.

Couldn't find another place to ask this, so I hope this works: I'm new and I'm using the app too. I wanted to pose a question by opening a new thread in the Forum, but I don't seem to have that option. Am I missing something? Also, can I not upload pics here?

Which app are you on? I see Chess Openings on Android.

You need to use a browser for inserting images in the forums.
