I've lost all sound today after upgrading from Gold to Platinum ? could that be due to this recent site upgrade ?

The new profile still shows for you? If you had it before yesterday you would still have it, otherwise you shouldn't.
My guess is the planned changes will be in a week or two.

I would like if profile notes remain kept and displayed on user's profiles, I don't see any reason why chess.com wants to remove them. Additionally, followers should NOT GO AWAY, I feel like this would hurt bloggers. Even if they get removed from your public profile, the number of followers you have should be viewable at least by yourself, even if it's private and hidden to everybody else. I don't care that much about the views, but maybe you could change that to a private thing as well, where users can only see their own stats for how many views and followers they have.
Overall, I don't hate the new design, but I definitely think it needs some tweaking before it gets released again.

It sounds like we might be getting the downgrade again.
I just have two questions:
1. WHY WERE THE NOTES AND FOLLOWER COUNTS REMOVED?!
2. WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE ORIGINAL PROFILE?! (I thankfully haven't gotten the downgrade so far but you know what I mean)
