Why are you letting YGNR accounts flood the forum, chess.com??

YGNR mentioned that he wrote a program that allowed him to create all those accounts. He said anyone with basic knowledge of C++, Java, or Python can do the same. The post is not visible to me or anybody that isn't a mod anymore so I don't remember what he said exactly. Also, IP banning someone is pointless and I doubt chess.com is "letting" him do all this. If they really want to get rid of a slight annoyance they can just hardware ID ban him.

It’s not that simple; there are stuff like Tor and VPN, she can just change her IP. Guess not everything is foolproof, but it’s much harder than it actually looks like.

I was saying IP banning was useless in response to your original post where you said, "NOW IP BAN HER ALREADY." If you're saying that in response to the "hardware ID ban" then clearly you know nothing about the subject.
Your computer hardware has a unique identifier that can be used to ban people. I highly doubt you can do it on a website especially one like chess.com. It's mainly used on cheaters in video games. The only way to bypass it is by spoofing your hardware ID or just getting a new computer/replacing old parts.

I've already made a forum about IP bans. They don't work on this site. a simple $5 vpn bypasses it completely.
There's no point complaining, the Chess.com higherups have already given us the answer to their response to the trolls. They won't have a response.
You all seem to be missing the point. Its not Chess.com's job to impose moral judgements on members. Their job is to offer chess to the masses. The fact that some people like drmrboss and his friends have no discipline, courage or backbone doesn't change the fact that some people behave in life and others don't. Why?..... because when you monitor him......you control YGNR. None of her 70,000 accounts last longer than 40 mins. Its not a problem......its an anomaly. Tomorrow, and next week, most planes will get to where the're going. Yes, occasionally, a couple will crash.....but most will get to where the're going. The'll be a few car crashes next week also......but most will get to where they are going. Next month......drmrboss's friends will STILL be......in solitary confinement. That's not our problem,...that's not our concern.
It is about maintaining community guidelines and since his friends refuse to abide by them.......they are imprisoned......you know,....society's moral judgements.

Dude no it's the internet. If this site is public, no matter what you do he/she can access it. you're feeding the troll giving it all this god damn attention. "Don't feed the trolls". If you just ignore it, and a lot of people do, there WILL BE NO PROBLEMS they get bored. Or you can look at the positive side of it, some of it is funny. They look for things like this forum, or you insulting them or something that's what they like because frankly, getting someone to rage online is funny. You see it in games all the time.
